Beacon Globe Assembly

This pole mounted flashing beacon, typically sited at pedestrian crossing points, is supplied with a one piece yellow translucent globe. Fitted to a pole top gallery, access is via 3 hex head set screws.

The beacon comes with anti-vibration lamp holder and BA22D tungsten filament lamp. Synchronised flasher units are also included. The large base steel support post with black and white bands is available with lockable base chamber for access to the mains input panel. Opal coloured globes are also available for use on central island locations.

MHIOO Mini Head

This 2 light signal head is intended for internal use as a repeater signal.

Comprising lOOmm red/green fresnel lenses housed in an ABS wall mounted enclosure, available in self colour black or grey complete with 240v 15w SBC Pygmy lamps and input cable gland.

Combination Heads

21Omm and 300mm optics can be combined to give, for example, 300mm red plus 21Omm amber and green, or 21Omm red and amber plus 300mm green.

Additionally, symbols can be added to the combination as specified. Not recommended for more than 4 aspects high.

Cycle Routes

Our PH 100 and PH I 00Z modular signals are fitted with screen printed cycle symbols and are widely used across Europe on cycle routes/lanes.

They are available in 3 aspect (red/amber/green) or 4 aspect (blue/red/amber/green) versions, pole mounted using polycarbonate swivel brackets with enclosed cable entry. The signals feature E27 lampholders as standard.

Signwritten Lenses

Sign writing is available on the 200mm and 300mm spiderweb lenses for most messages, as required, for use off the Public Highway.

Mellor lenses to UK specification are also stocked, suitable for both permanent and portable signal heads, and are available in standard acrylic and polycarbonate.

Traffic Detector

Both above and below ground trafffic detectors are supplied for use in most applications.

The range of above ground detectors covers microwave, infra-red, photocell or surface mounted loops which can be interfaced with our automatic control systems.

Below ground detection is achieved via a wire loop arrangement which is permanently fixed within the road surface.This can be linked to our automatic controller.

Safelite controllers have no standard specification, but are designed to suit the requirements of individual customers.

Safelite's mainstream model is shown here as as guide.This is manual or automatic, controlling one or more signai heads for trafffic management purposes.This means it is ideally suited for offfice car parks, factory gatehouses, motor vehicle racing circuits, loading bays or any other manned application which requires vehicular control.

All Safelite controllers are supplied with comprehensive wiring details and are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with our IS0900I quality system. Safelite can also produce larger automatic systems in environmental housings for more complex unmanned situations.
